Rather than directing or staging, I focus on what’s unfolding — capturing both the scale of the setting and the smaller moments within it. Coverage is customized to reflect your celebration and can include destination travel, multi-day gatherings, and a collaborative approach throughout planning and photography.

How do I book a photo session with you?

Do you work with a shot list?
I don’t rely on traditional shot lists, but I’m always happy to note any meaningful details or relationships you want me to be aware of. I focus on capturing the day as it unfolds, with attention to what matters most to you.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples reach out 6–12 months in advance, especially for destination weddings or peak dates. That said, I’m always open to hearing about your plans, even if they’re coming together quickly. I only do a handful of weddings per year so I can give each wedding the care and attention it needs.
Do you offer engagement or portrait sessions?
Yes. Engagements and portraits are offered as standalone sessions or added to wedding coverage. These sessions are relaxed and unhurried, focused on comfort, connection, and ease.
When will we receive our photos?
Galleries are delivered within a set timeframe outlined in your contract. Each collection is carefully edited with attention to tone, color, and consistency.
Do you shoot film, digital, or both?
I work primarily with digital photography, often incorporating film-inspired techniques and tones. I do offer film photography as an add-on. Specific details can be discussed based on your preferences and project needs.
What weddings feel like the best fit for your work?
I’m most drawn to weddings that feel personal and thoughtfully sized, where the focus stays on connection rather than production. I love celebrations that move at an easy pace, allowing moments to unfold naturally while I document rather than direct. Natural light and the interplay of light and shadow guide my work, and I’m especially inspired by gatherings with little fuss, where the heart of the day is simply the couple and the people they’ve chosen to surround themselves with.
How do your values show up in your work?
Care for people, community, and the planet is central to how I show up in my work. I’m committed to supporting racial justice, LGBTQ+ and trans communities, mental health, youth, immigrants, and the wellbeing of BIPOC communities, as well as climate and environmental justice. I believe love and care extend beyond a single day, which is why a portion of every booking is donated to organizations doing this work. It’s a small but meaningful way to give back and to ensure the stories I document are connected to a larger sense of care and responsibility.
What should we know about travel and logistics for destination weddings?
For destination weddings, travel and accommodations are handled thoughtfully and transparently. Depending on the location and the details outlined in your contract, travel may be included in the overall coverage or listed separately within the total invoice. I spend a significant amount of time traveling, and if I’m already in or near your destination at the time of your wedding, flight costs may not apply. All details are discussed in advance so everything feels clear and considered, allowing you to focus on your celebration rather than logistics.
Do you offer videography or video services?
My primary focus and expertise is photography, and I don’t offer traditional videography. That said, I’m always happy to recommend local videographers I trust or have professional connections with, especially for destination weddings.
If you’re looking for something more relaxed and modern, a wedding content creator can also be added on. This is a more approachable and affordable alternative to traditional videography, focused on capturing short-form video moments throughout the day using social media–style storytelling. It’s a great option if you want candid video memories without a full film production.
